Origins

The American Ladybug Sheep Registry was founded in 2018 by Lyn Brown, La Plata NM.  While participating in the California Red Sheep Registry Rebuilding Project many quality sheep were being culled due to color disqualifiers.  The American Ladybug Sheep Registry was founded for purpose of having a place to use outstanding animals of California Red Sheep, Tunis and/or Barbados Blackbelly heritage. Ladybugs may be any combination of the three breeds (must be from registered stock) and may have any color or combination of colors.
